COLLECTIVEDATA, INC. LAUNCHES NEW CONCEPT INTO CMMS APPLICATION DESIGN!
Desktop design, GPS module and GSA schedule contract lead list of innovations and advancements
Iowa City, Iowa - 9 June 2003 - collectiveData, Inc. a leading provider of fleet and shop maintenance management software, announced today the release of version 4.3 for both their collectiveFleet and collectiveShop CMMS software products. Both products incorporate the innovative desktop design feature, MySQL client-server and other productivity enhancements over past versions of the software.
"We like to think of it (version 4.3) as the next logical step in application design. Most people are familiar with the desktop they use everyday on their computer, we took that level of comfort and flexibility and made it available in our software applications.", said Kevin Roth, Director of Application Development.
This new concept in application design allows users to create a mechanics desktop, a manager's desktop or any number of desktops populated with one-click links to the functions they need on a day-to-day basis. While each desktop is unique, they do not conflict with each other. Security features control access to the various desktops so you know your data is secure and accurate. Other functions are easily accessible from the tool bar and menu at the top of the program.
Both collectiveFleet and collectiveShop can be found at www.collectivedata.com. Interested persons can download a free 30-day fully functioning demo of the software or request a demo CD be sent to them via the mail. Government buyers can view the complete GSA products list offered by collectiveData on the web site as well.
Visitors to collectiveData.com can also schedule a free live on-line demo of any collectiveData CMMS product. The live on-line demo gives potential clients the opportunity to make the most out of their 30-day free trial by having one of collectiveData's trainers walk them through each section of the software.
