Provide a fleet maintenance management program that provided for the basic scheduling, tracking and reporting functions of a typical application with additional capabilities that included:

• uses terms and nomenclature specific to a fire department
• supplied department specific reports
• Provide software for handheld devices for inventory and work order management
• Fuel management application
• Uniform/gear issue management

Solution:
collectiveData worked with the client to produce a software solution that provided fire department specific language along with department specific reports built in to our collectiveFleet Pro software. The supplied solution also seamlessly incorporated the handheld hardware and software requirements and a fuel management application that eliminated the costly demands of entering fuel data by hand. collectiveData developed a uniform and clothing inventory module to effectively manage the issue and return of fire fighter gear and uniforms.

The solution collectiveData supplied surpassed the expectations of the client, particularly with the built in ability of the software to grow with the needs of the department.

A local lawn care service

Challenge:
Provide an easy to use, powerful maintenance management software solution for a local lawn maintenance service that depends on a mixed fleet of vehicles and landscaping equipment on a daily basis:

• Need ability to schedule and track maintenance on primary equipment and any associated attachments and sub components
• Program must be able to restrict access to specific sections of the program to protect privacy and data integrity
• Require the ability to track inventory from procurement to assignment to a work order.

A general contractor

Challenge:
The client needed to not only create and track work orders on hundreds of pieces of equipment, report on a variety of maintenance and expense issues, schedule inspections etcetera, but also meet the following requirements:

• Provide the ability to assign parts and equipment to a specific job site as needed.
• Provide specialized equipment reports
• Need to be able to print and scan both OEM and in-house generated barcodes
• Track fuel and outside service purchases
• Control all tool and tool kit issue and returns

Solution:
collectiveData provided collectiveFleet Pro with the integrated collectiveTool Crib module as a base solution. We then created specialized reports to meet the exact requirements of the client. We gave the client the ability to designate job sites as the working location of any assigned parts and equipment along with any maintenance personnel assigned to the jog site as well. With the addition of the collectiveData Integrated Fleet Services Card, the solution was complete. By using the card the client is able to track every fuel purchase and a significant percentage of all outside services on the equipment assigned a card and it is all done automatically" no import to run or data to enter manually!

A regional trucking company

Challenge:
collectiveData, along with several other software companies, was asked to provide a fleet maintenance management software solution that covered all the basic maintenance scheduling, tracking and reporting functions while also including a host of other capabilities including:

• Utilize VMRS coding system.
• capture vehicle location and ODB II fault code in real time
• Run program in a web enabled environment
• Track fuel and outside service purchases
• Keep detailed history of all equipment maintenance and inspections
• Manage inventory using First In First Out (FIFO) method
• Provide web based modules for handheld PC's
• Track tires
• Notify user of active warranty for parts and components

Solution:
The collectiveData solution provided the client with a program that met or exceed all the requirements in less than one week. By providing the client with collectiveFleet Pro and the optional VMRS code key system, nearly all of the criteria were met immediately, including the need for: tire tracking, warranty management, and detailed history reporting. To meet the remote diagnostics and location tracking requirements, collectiveData looked to its partner: Networkcar, a leading provider of remote diagnostics and AVL technology. Our partnership allows us to provide the powerful Networkcar services seamlesly integrated into the collectiveFleet software: fault codes automatically generate maintenance requests in the collectiveData software and the tracking maps can also be displayed within the software as well. The web enabled specification was successfully met by ruining the collectiveData maintenance software over the companies Citrix server and providing the requested handheld web based handheld applications that the client chose to use in a wireless environment. And finally, by incorporating the optional FIFO inventory management module (Last Price method is included in the collectiveFleet Pro base package).
