Croell Redi-Mix utilizes many aspects of the collectiveFleet system to manage expenses and provide equipment data to employees.
Providing concrete services to companies and organizations in over six states across the Midwest, Croell Redi-Mix has a large fleet of a variety of equipment ranging from concrete mixing trucks to compressors.
The company realized a need to have a base of information for the location of all of their units and the home departments of employees. "With the ability of our out-lying locations to dial into our system, they are now able to access information on their own without having to call into our corporate office for answers," said Julie Snyder, Equipment Asset Coordinator for Croell Redi-Mix. "All information is now available at all times to almost everyone in our company."
More efficient location and expense tracking.
Croell Redi-Mix uses the collectiveFleet system to track the "owning location" of their units and transfers between locations. This allows them to accurately track expenses for fuel, repairs, maintenance, and other expenses for each unit. They also utilize the software's ability to track employee certification, license renewals, annual inspections, and inter-company rentals.
"We chose Collective Data because of the diversity of the software," Snyder commented. "We were able to compile information from three systems into one and eliminate duplicate work."
Powerful reporting options provide valuable data to improve their business.
Since implementation, Croell Redi-Mix has been able to write new and customize existing reports, import data from other programs into the system, export info in report form and have accommodated their mechanics by training them to use the work order portion of the software. "This not only speeds up their processes but it gives us a more real-time view of information," said Snyder.
