Have you had a chance to participate?
In 2011, Collective Data began offering free training webinars to clients as an added benefit to services provided in their active support contracts. Jason Burgoon, Client Services Specialist and Director of Training for Collective Data, says that the events have been well received so far.
"The main goal is to continue to offer information and assistance to our client base," he said. "We're taking a proactive approach by reaching out to our customers and extending a helpful hand."
Four webinar sessions have taken place since the beginning of the year. The topics have included: Ways to save money with fleet management software, reports (filtering, ad-hoc, and options), and preventative maintenance scheduling.
"I enjoy the client interaction and helping others," commented Burgoon. "Listening, understanding, and offering solutions to the requests and questions of our client base are very important. Working with clients in these events also helps me to become a better and more effective trainer."
Although the webinars offer a good overview in selected topics, they aren't a substitute for in-depth training. Collective Data offers one-on-one webinar training and on-site training for more in-depth training.
"Training is a dedicated effort for each of our clients and their specific needs," said Burgoon. "The webinars are a simple way to bring multiple clients together and offer information on a particular topic over a short amount of time. Training is certainly more comprehensive and is specific to you."
Not only is training essential for a successful implementation, learning to use the software in the most efficient manner is beneficial to any organization. Collective Data's product line is designed to help you work smarter, not harder, and with this additional avenue we hope to help our clients get one step closer to meeting their operational goals.
