Collective Data's CEO Receives 'Forty Under 40' Award

Jason Wonase Joins Group of Young Leaders Recognized by the Corridor Business Journal

Cedar Rapids, Iowa - 29 October 2009 -- Collective Data CEO, Jason Wonase, was named as one of the 'Forty Under 40' recipients at a dinner event hosted at the Cedar Rapids Marriot recently. The award, presented by the Corridor Business Journal, recognizes leaders and entrepreneurs that have made an impact in their business or community in the Cedar Rapids/Iowa City region early in their careers.

"It is a real honor to have been selected for this considering all the very dedicated and talented individuals out there who deserve to be recognized," said Wonase. "I don't think of myself as doing anything extraordinary; instead I'm just following my passion and doing what I love to do."

The thrill of the ride of being an entrepreneur and young business leader is what Wonase enjoys the most. "You never know what tomorrow will bring," he commented. "It can be one of the highest of highs or a new challenge that you never imagined you'd need to face."

Since the company's formation in 2001, Wonase has led Collective Data to a growth of nearly 10 percent each year. The company is now one of the predominant suppliers of fleet operations management software in the industry.
